Sugar Creek Restoration Project – Planning

In 2007, SPEB awarded a $20,000 grant to the U.S.D.A. Forest Service for development of a restoration plan for Sugar Creek, a feeder stream to Segment E.  The ultimate purpose of the project is to restore the function of Sugar Creek as a trout nursery by reducing the amount of sediment entering the creek.  The total project cost was estimated at $1.8 million.
